What is a watershed?
The entire area where a particular area's water naturally flows and flows forward in a stream is called the watershed of that stream.
- A watershed is a natural part of the natural landscape.
- A watershed is an area in which rainwater flows over the land surface, flows within that area and exits at a single point.
- A watershed is bounded by a watershed line (the crest line).
- Every body of water and every stream on the land surface has its own watershed.
